As we prepare to flip our calendars to the new year, I hope you'll find some time to engage in a few dynamic projects related to this ever-evolving industry of global student mobility:
- Measuring Return on Investment: There are a few openings left for participation in a ground-breaking assessment of measuring ROI in international student recruitment. The results of several in-depth (anonymous) case studies will be shared at a session slated for 31 May 2007 at the NAFSA Conference in Minneapolis. To volunteer, please contact session chair Richard Yam, ryam@ipo.umass.edu
- NAFSA's Marketing and Recruiting Network: Cheryl Darrup-Boychuck, C.E.O. of http://www.usjournal.com, accepted an invitation to serve as NAFSA's Network Manager for Marketing and Recruitment, which is part of the Recruitment, Admissions and Preparation (RAP) Knowledge Community. Send any suggestions for improvement of http://www.nafsa.org/knowledge_community_network.sec/ to cheryl@usjournal.com
