| Preview of Cyber Recruitment Session in DC |
For years, we've been saying that online promotions represent an inherent affluency filter, as only one-fifth of the world's population has regular Internet access. But you may have noticed the Digital Divide shrinking ever so slightly -- evidenced by an increase in prospective student inquiries from less developed countries.
Gain some perspective during NAFSA's Annual Conference in DC. A Cyber Recruitment Session will be held on Thursday, 29 May at 9:15 a.m. Cheryl Darrup-Boychuck will address worldwide online usage trends, and Viktar Khotsim will provide the latest updates on EducationUSA's Virtual Consulting Office. Ball State University's Marty Bennett will also feature specific tech-oriented examples from a U.S. campus perspective.
